The 3rd SHANGHAI IBC achieved great success featuring 99 dancers from 20 countries, including Russia, America, Estonia, Korea, Japan, China, Czech, Slovak, Romania, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Croatia, Austria, Mongolia, Kazakstan, etc.

The competition was organized by Shanghai Culture Development Foundation, Wenhui-Xinmin United Press Group and Shanghai Media Group; presented by Shanghai City Dance Co,. Ltd, Shanghai International Culture and Arts Exchange Co. Ltd. and OTV Entertainment & Arts Channel , co-presented by Shanghai Grand Theatre.

The international jury consists of prestigious personage in the realm of ballet, including influential ballet stars, choreographers, artistic directors and chairman of jury in world-renowned ballet competition.

The 2nd SHANGHAI IBC involved over 110 dancers representing 16 countries.

The 1st SHANGHAI IBC premiered in Shanghai with 57 dancers from 13 countries. For the first time in its history, Shanghai has been in the ballet spotlight when it hosts China's first international ballet competition.
